AFL figure Brendan Fevola made a shocking revelation on live radio Thursday, alleging that Collingwood CEO Craig Kelly has been removed from his position by the Magpies.

This development follows allegations that Kelly made a series of racist comments about club staff, including making inappropriate jokes about placing a “live possum” in a special room for Indigenous players and referring to an Aboriginal elder with derogatory language. Additionally, Kelly is accused of suggesting that a “Free Palestine” sign be sent to a Jewish colleague.

AFL identity Brendan Fevola dropped a bombshell on live radio on Thursday as he claimed Collingwood CEO Craig Kelly is being moved on by the Magpies

The allegations, filed last month in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia by Mark Cleaver, the club’s former head of First Nations strategy, have sparked significant controversy.

Fevola disclosed the news on Fox FM’s Fifi, Fev & Nick show, stating, “I had a coffee with someone yesterday who works at one of the big AFL clubs, and they dropped a little bomb on my table.” He added, “I don’t know why they did because I work on the radio. [I have] breaking news.”

Fevola further noted, “A week ago, [Graham] Wright, I believe the football manager of Collingwood, went on holiday and won’t be returning to the club—that’s already in the news.”

Fevola’s revelation suggests that Kelly’s tenure with the Magpies is coming to an end amid the serious allegations against him.
